lizzie, elea, ping and jol treated me to k box today. haha. yea~!

we went to the branch at cine (8th floor). the toilet was creepy and eerie. the air con was freezing. the octopus was tough. the rice was hard. but the seats look new and so did the mics.

we started singing ah do's songs first. ah haha. it was hilarious. we had to hold our noses to sing. then we also sang 祝我生日快乐. how appropriate. but i do not want to be so sad la. keke. we sang 屋顶 and kept laughing at 吴宗宪's face. haha. jol and i sang the male part while liz ping elea sang the female part. jol and i had to make our voices go super low. but at the chorus, all five of us were singing at the high range. haha. we sang a lot of nonsense songs. songs that i usually will not sing if i go out with lamerz. like 美丽的童话（神话）. ah haha. ah ping's blunder. like f4's 流星雨. haha. i took ken's part while liz took jerry's part, ping zaizai's and jol vaness'. the MVs for the english songs were nonsense la. i mean the MV doesn't suit the song. it's like, you know, the China scenery videos? this time, the setting was set in the early 1990s in some ang moh country. haha. totally crappy.

i have to mention that the k box webbie stated that if i make a reservation one day before we go singing, we'll have to pay $7+++ instead of $9+++ for k lunch (http://www.kbox.com.sg/kbox/content/view/88/68/). the only terms and conditions was that the promotion is valid only until 31st August 2006.

when the bill came, it was $9+++ per person although i made a reservation a day before. i told the waiter and he replied that he could consult his manager. then his manager came and insisted that the promotion had not started yet. what nonsense. there was nothing on the webbie that stated that the promotion had not started yet. if it was so, why was the promo ad on the k box official webbie? i made noise and elea supported me. ah ping said that i should say, "i am appalled by this!" haha. the manager then said that the would go and consult the higher authorities. liz said that she saw the manager talking to the waiter who served us. oh. so the waiter is of higher authority than the manager? wow.

because of this discrepency, we had the privilege to sing until 2.45pm (k lunch is from 11am to 2pm). when the manager came back at 2.45pm, he still stood by his point that the promo was not available yet but he decided to give us the discount anyway. oh yea~! it was $43.70. down from $55. they paid (they were treating me, remember? =D) $11 each and we continued singing. we kept singing until 3.30pm. that was when the system shut down. haha. it stated that the management had stopped the service. ah haha. so we were practically driven out. but our receipt did not arrive yet. so we left the room and took the receipt and left. lousy service

oh yea~! i helped them save money and we sang for an extra 1.5 hours. keke.

we went to take neoprints and *tadah* thanks to liz, we uncovered the secret to making our neoprints have the "shiny frame" effect. haha. i'm happy. the first neoprints i've taken ever since losing my wallet....

went to wheelock to try on the slippers. size 36 for me. yea~! papillio....
