** Laughing is contagious **

>>> yeewen: did you hear what that dragon said? he is going to freeze his pay hike for 5 years and donate pay hikes. wapiang. haha. i think he said that cos sooooo many singaporeans are super pissed about the increase in pay la. to portray himself as a benevolent / righteous PM who loves and cares about his citizens. *bleah*

GST hikes t0o. freak la! i'm suffering!!! i think i will plan a shopping spree soon. spend my money on everything before it's too late. i think we are living in a crappy generation. the morals, the weather, the GST, the competitiveness.... makes me reconsider about having children. i don't want my (future) children to suffer so much.

i went for the interview at the MOE to be a primary school teacher. i was supposed to be there at 3.05pm but i was late for 5 minutes. haha. it's ok la. raining =P

still, i was earlier then 3.20pm (the interview time). i sat there and waited. then i went in. 3 people were there. 2 females and 1 male. they asked me what i put as first choice. so i said nursing. the guy gave a "what the heck? of ALLLLL things in the world, why did you put nursing?" kind of face. i felt like slapping him. o0ps. so i explained.

"Would you like to teach general (english, math, science) or chinese?"

i stupidly said "chinese".

"You've been out of touch of chinese for quite some time. about a year. is that right? so have you been upgrading your chinese?"

i replied that i have been reading the chinese papers.

"早报还是晚报？"

"早报。"

"每天吗？"

"不是。两三天一次."

"那你为什么要教华文呢？”

so i started telling her about how important being a chinese is. that nowadays the kids are speaking more english and losing their chinese heritage. this should be the case cos we are after all chinese. should at least learn the language...... blah blah blah. i said all of that in chinese. BUT, i thought of the points in english before translating them into chinese. and my translating wasn't that great. and, the WORST THING was, i spoke in an ang moh way (ABC way). wapiang. i don't know what overcame me ok? i thought my conversational chinese was reasonably good ok? i mean, you guys know me, right? argh........... CRAP

after this part, they said it was enough and i left the room. i think i gave them such a BIG shock out of their lives that they wanted me to go out immediately.

after stepping out of the room, i was infected with the laughing virus. i wanted to laugh. so i messaged luwei, james, fungi, shuen and peijun. all replied expect peijun. bleah!!!! haha. luwei called me. so sweet right? then i started to laugh. who knows, muen and timmy were laughing in the background. their laughter was louder than mine. then luwei laughed too. so the 4 of us were laughing. then luwei said he will call me back later. then james called me, and i continued to laugh. but only for a while. then i called fungi. then i laughed so hard until my tummy hurts. i was on the train all this while. i think the people think im a crazy woman. haha. fungi thought i was crying la!!!! haha. so funny.

i came home, told my dad about the 5 minute interview and started laughing again. he ignored me =( but i still continued laughing. i think i stopped at 5pm. i started at 3.35pm. wa... my p0or tummy.

so that was my 5 minute interview with MOE. CRAP~!!!!!!!!!!!!

i learnt something: it doesn't pay to be honest. i should NOT have said that i put nursing as first choice and spoke so passionately about it. bleah. haha. i love nursing. i didn't love it so much then. after getting my results and doing my research, my love for it grew. c0ol.

i went out with cell to vivo yesterday cos it was cell's FIRST ANNIVERSARY~!!!!! yea~!!!!

we took loads of random and lame photos. i was laughing like mad too. cos we cracked loads of random and very no link jokes. haha. just a preview...
