anyway, yesterday at church was a really cool affair. i am a Lily =P

i like the part where i was able to jump really high and give my all to God. it was better than celebrating after a Man Utd victory. just as i was jumping, God convicted me that that was how i should be praising God - with all my heart, soul and mind. if soccer means life and death, turning friends into enemies, strangers into buddies, how much more should God mean in my life? 晴天霹雳. really. it really hit me hard!

also, nissi 3 had combined praise and worship. i think it was really cool. haha. everyone 济济一堂. all cramped up and praising God all together. heh. nissi 3 is as strong as the weakest link. and to peijun, "don't be a chicken" =PpP

then, peijun and i scurried off to meet Lamerz at CityLink's NYNY. we had our dinner and hurried off to catch the fireworks. we got ourselves a not-very-ideal-place behind the esplanade bridge. but thank goodness, we were still able to catch the view. Saturday's fireworks was from China. Made in China. remember not to put anything into your mouth. the dye might be poisionous. the fireworks might contain cardboard. the quality might not be too good either. expect some blurry images.

the thing started at like... 9.20++pm?? although it was stated on the papers that it would start at 9pm. oh well. Made In China what. what can we expect? as i went for the fireworks display on Friday, Lamerz (namely starting from the eldest, fungi, serkun, wilson, yeewen, zhiwei and peijun) kept asking me where the best spot was etc etc etc. i think it's really cool to have watched both fireworks displays. haha. that's besides the point. fungi, wilson, yeewen, peijun and i whipped out our cameras (er... peijun was the onli one with the camera) and phones and waited patiently for the fireworks display...

here are some of the nicer photos i took. the quality aint too good cos i used the multi-shot feature. i was taking videos most of the time. must 靠 peijun for the nicer photos already. oh! i have to mention this. peijun was a little lousy la. her camera ran out of battery midway through the display. sigh... oh! did i mention that her phone also "low batt"? sigh... *shakes head* =P

personally, i prefer the Spain display (Friday's ) cos of the varitey. they had the heart-shaped and Jupiter-shaped fireworks!! it was really cute. they also had the "waterfall" fieworks. i like! they had LAVENDER coloured fireworks too~!!! haha. my fave colour! and maybe because i got a better spot. China's (saturday's) was a tad boring (think a distorted flower and a heart that looks like a lump in the middle of no where). also, the interval between China's different fireworks was soooo long~!!! but i gotta give credit to China for the shimmerings and the wider variety of colours.

after it ended, we had to sqeeze from the other side of the Esplanade Bridge all the way to the Esplanade bus stop. this time, the credit goes to ZHIWEI~!!! he made himself useful this time round. haha. he brought the rest of us (who were already in a beeline) through the multitudes of people. it was quite funny cos i think it was one of the VERY FEW times where Lamerz girls held hands. heh. it's a VERY normal thing for hugs and holding of hands between the SAME gender in church. but somehow, i seldom do it with lamerz's (girls)! haha. cute!

as i was saying, zhiwei was really good man! he brought us to 川街走巷. as in he weaved his way through the oncoming crowd. we were going against the crowd so things were a little difficult for us. but with zhiwei, he zoomed here and whoosed there and the rest of us followed suit. our "link" broke several times. but still, it was really fun! haha. i was laughing and screaming away. i realised something: the guys were quite gentlemanly. they 包头包尾 and let us girls to be together in the middle. i didn't realise it until i was blogging. heh.

in a while, we were out of the crowd! zhiwei brought us to 川街走巷 again and we arrived at the Explanade bus stop. so nice, 171 came not long after we arrived. and then, still so nice, the bus stopped right in front of us. then, still still so so nice, all 7 of us had places to sit. and still still so so sooo nice, we were almost sitting together. haha! thank God.

on the bus, serkun and i were messaging each other about doing something to surprise yeewen. in the end peijun thought of what to write, i typed the message out and messaged serkun for approval. the green light went up and serkun messaged the rest of the people (fungi, wilson, zhiwei, peijun). and we all mass sent yeewen the same message! wahaha! i think we are so lame. really cant stand what we did. but it was FUN~!!! times with lamerz are just unforgetable. heh. really very 难忘. all the squeezing and shoving and zhiwei leading all of us... wahaha.

and so to zhiwei: THANKS~!!!!

it was the first time i took 171 from Esplanade ALL THE WAY back to Yishun. crazy ride. but i managed to catch some sleep on board the bus cos i was really really exhausted after a whole day's activites (esp. the 人济人 part). fungi, serkun, zhiwei and yeewen went to wilson's house to stayover while peijun and i both went back to our respective homes.
