i went to attend Fann Wong's wedding yesterday.... NOT!!!

ok la. i attended my own wedding. to those who were not given an invitation, i sincerely apologise. i hope it is not to late... erm... get it? (8) it's too late to apologise.... it's too late~~~~~ (8)

ok la! i attended my cousin's wedding. i guess the next cousin's wedding i will attend would be quite a few years later cos the eldest unmarried cousin (paternal side) is only 24! maternal side? i don't even think any are attached. hMm... fyi, i'm the 3rd youngest in my generation on my paternal side and 2nd youngest on my maternal side. my sis? she's the youngest on both sides! haha!!!! XMM. LOL. *winks at GAPpers*

my cousin (the groom) singing 你最珍贵 despite being drunk.

my 二姑 (left) was in very high spirits last night. it was her Happy Hour cos the groom (her son) is her last child to get married. so, as my dad puts it, she "cleared" all her children already. haha!

since my cousin was drunk (he did dumb things like plucking the rose out from the stand and putting it in his pocket -_-"), my cousin-in-law, the bride, drank the cup of red wine on his behalf.

i would not allow anyone to make my future husband drunk during the wedding dinner. NEVER! one, cos it's wrong to get drunk. two, it creates a scene. three, i don't think i want to clear his puke on our wedding night. i don't mind clearing his puke when he's ill. but, cos he's drunk? no way.

my mei and i at home! we were tired. but still decided to pose and smile sweetly for the camera! =D

ok guys. i'm so glad week 1 of hospital attachment is over! we (singee, huiwen, betsy, faiz and i) celebrated by treating ourselves to mr bean's ice cream cone! 20% off. haha. i shall not elaborate much cos i'm afraid i'll mention something that might infringe on the patients' confidentiality. oh well. but i gotta tell you that my legs are really really tired from standing from 5 to 5. cos i wake at 5. and will stand all the way til 5pm (after i bathe). lunch break is effectively 35minutes of sitting time. so yea. my poor legs. thank God someone invented compression / pressure stockings! prevents DVT! prevents blood pooling in the legs. increases blood flow. yea! my friend!

oh yea. gotta say that AM shift starts officially at 7am. however, we have to reach 10 minutes before shift starts, which means 6.50am. but, the ward clock is 10 minutes FASTER! meaning, we hafta reach at 6.40am normal rest-of-Singapore time. sad, right?

not to mention that we, NUS Nursing students, get "bullied" by other nurses cos.. well, we're NUS students! as one nurse puts it, they are "skeptical" about us. oh well! just want to tell the rest of the world that i am a warrior! i will not give up! tough it may be. they might look down upon us and ignore us and ill-treat us. but i will fight all the way. i will show you that we are not to be trampled upon. i will be the best nurse i can be and thrash the rest of them. i will make sure they will not look down upon us ever again. it's NUS Nursing's reputation at stake! it will only make me stronger! yes! watch out, those who treat us like dirt! we, NUS Nursing students, will prove that we are worthy of the degree when we graduate. not now cos we're only year 1s and it's our very first hospital attachment. but we'll show you what we've got! watch out. be scared. be very very scared! this is war. fighting~~~~~~~~
