ok. for the sake of those who are still in the midst of their A levels, i shall try to contain my joy.

wow. i survived without blogging for like 16 days? ah haha.... so i must blog all i can now. lemme start from 1st nov.

1st Nov (Wednesday)
elea called me and we discussed about the "Competition is the catalyst for innovation" essay - how not to hijack the question.
i was busy reading all the essay outlines that was on ivle as well as what ms tan sent all of us. i think i spent the whole day in front of the computer.
and i sent like more than 60 messages to my friends asking them to go go jia you. my handphone was beeping non-stop for that period of time. my fingers were also quite stiff. radiation - it'll kill my eggs!!!

2nd Nov (Thursday) - GENERALPAPER 8005 PAPER 1 & 2 [N09]
cramming everything the day before did not really help.
GP's well, just like THAT. i mean, it's not like it can be improved in such a short time right?
Paper 1 (compo) : i did not add the balancing part. good right? think i am more or less dead. haha. will be penalised badly. on top of that, i only had TWO content paragraphs. but both were well elaborated. 1 point per page? haha. so hope that i'll not flop too badly.
Paper 2 (compre) : the AQ and summary were TOUGH. oh gosh. no time!!! and i predicted correctly that the AQ would not be "in your country" anymore. haha. this has been the trend for the past few years. take the hint, cherie...

3rd Nov (Friday)
i don't really remember what i did. haha. think i slacked most of the day away.

4th Nov (Saturday)
oh yea~! i love saturdays. haha. Pastor Chris Long came to our church today. my goodness. he was SUPER hilarious. i laughed at almost every sentence he said. no joke. i laughed at the not-funny parts too. well, at least i found it funny. at least i have shuen to keep me company. haha. she laughed at almost everything he said too~!! think i shall have a separate entry on him. haha.

Ps Chris Long told that joke about 4months ago. haha. so nonsense.
i realised that pastors have cute surnames (e.g. long, hope, cheo). haha.
and i also noted that pastors like to be called "chris". it's just some random analysis.
and i laughed til i cried again during ice breakers. haha. it was some mimicking game. i really have no words to describe. internal joke i guess. haha.

5th Nov (Sunday)
stayed at home. argh... man. the feeling of being stuck at home and mugging is just... terrible. i watched the 7pm show on channel 8 starring 王喜 and 胡杏儿 and that cute guy (screen name 汤家明). i don't know his name yet. haha. i loooove that show cos it has 王喜. keke. let me make a hasty generalisation - any shows starring 王喜 will be nice =)

6th Nov (Monday)
oh gosh... Math Paper 1 is tomorrow... i was busy practising all the other schools' prelim papers and looking through all the formulae. i was quite tensed/nervous/uptight/worried/anxious... you get the idea. haha. i prayed and prayed. i did quiet time and heard God telling me not to worry. i told luwei that and luwei commented that if God told me not to worry, i really need not worry and just leave everything to God. yeah... that's true.

7th Nov (Tuesday) - MATHEMATICS 9233 PAPER 1 [N09]
i did some last minute studying in the morning. til the last minute i was still looking at all the math formulae. eliz started asking how to find the volume using trapezium rule. that really freaked me out cos i totally forgot how to solve this type of questions. i totally forgot that they existed. i searched my whole database and guessed the correct way of solving. the weather was SUPER hot that day.
overall, the paper was doable. but i made a few careless mistakes here and there. aiyah. it's quite sickening to know that i made those mistakes. it's not as if i did not know how to do. argh...

8th Nov (Wednesday) - CHEMISTRY 9251 PAPER 3 [L03]
i was not used to sitting in the front. hann hann was beside me, so that provided some comfort. but i have to add that jielun (the fake) was sitting in front of hann hann. so whenever i look up from the position i was writing (eh, im a right hander. so my head will tilt to the left when i am writing.), i'll see him. ewww.... it pressurised me greatly. i mean, he did soooo fast. brrr.... think elea can empathise with me.
chem paper 3 was quite bad for me. i did not finish studying everything, believe it or not? i did not have enough time to complete everything. i kind of gave up question 3. knock myself. on top of that, i had many weird answers for the calculations. i am not confident of them at all. sigh.

9th Nov (Thursday) - MATHEMATICS 9233 PAPER 2 [N09]
this paper was also doable. but i made a silly error. careless mistake - AGAIN~! i was careless in finding the unbiased estimate of standard varience. argh... kill me. so the subsequent answers were all wrong. pray that there would be working marks. error carry forward. sigh.
the topics missing from this year's Math 9233 paper are:
- curve sketching and transformation
- modulus
- R-formula
- MaClaurin series
- integration by parts
- integration to find area and volume
- trapezium rule (so all eliz's, jol's, ping's, elea's and my worries were for nothing)
and log came out. i mean i have not been practising log for ages la. thank God that the question was not too difficult and required only secondary school knowledge on log.
joanna, serxing and i took the train home. joanna was quite depressed. i did not really know how to comfort her...sigh...

10th Nov (Friday)
finally a break. three taxing papers in three days. the bio people had to endure more. 辛苦了!! (think serkun. haha.) i did chem ionic eqm qns to brush up on my WEAKEST chem topic and read a few econs essays. a few means a FEW. like maybe 2 or 3? haha.

11th Nov (Saturday)
yea~! Saturday AGAIN~! keke. i laughed until i cried AGAIN during ice breakers. the game we played was chop chilli chop. haha. childish game but FUN. rico was supposed to start doing the actions. he suddenly did push ups and guess what? his shirt flew up and ... *sensored*.... haha. i really could not stop laughing. i am laughing as i am typing this. gosh. what's worse, luwei's laughter made me laugh more. erm... think zhiwei. it's the kind of you-will-laugh-when-you-hear-the-laughter-although-you-don't-know-the-joke kind of laughter. it's the kind of you-laugh-at-the-laughter kind of situation. haha. andros was the other one who cried. man. i laughed so hard that my tummy hurt.

12th Nov (Sunday)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ZHIWEI~!!!!
lamerz (minus zhiwei and wilson) called serkun's mobile phone to conference. we decided to give zhiwei a birthday surprise - serkun's plan. serkun will ask zhiwei to call him on his mobile phone because serkun wants to ask zhiwei some physics question about some motion thingy. non physics students like fungi, yeewen, peijun, jol, liz, ping, elea, hann, cali, shiwei, joanna... say "har?!?!?". zhiwei will call serkun without knowing that the rest of us are already on the line. serkun will ask a few questions and leave the phone for a while. during this interval, i'll play 走路去纽约. internal joke. haha. then when serkun gives the cue, we'll sing a happy birthday song to zhiwei~! sounds good right? but....
SERKUN FORGOT TO TELL US THAT HE HAD JOINED ZHIWEI'S CALL INTO THE CONVERSATION....
meaning, zhiwei heard us talking...meaning the plan FAILED. but we carried on with it anyway. we all feigned ignorance. haha. so in the end we managed to sing the birthday song. the second flopped Lamerz birthday surprise after fungi's. haha.
we held a 3 hour plus conference call from 1230 til 330am. guess this is one of the longest lamerz conference calls we've ever had. talked nonsense as usual. haha.
and i felt that all my efforts were unappreciated. i was playing nice and soothing music in the background for lamerz but they kept bombing me. sigh...

13th Nov (Monday)
pia econs essays. was reading them until my brain could not take it any longer. i felt tt whatever i read was not stored at all. so i went to study chem. it was just a boring day. mugging mugging mugging. just a random thought. why is mugging called mugging and not cupping? hMm...

14th Nov (Tuesday) - CHEMISTRY 9251 PAPER 2 [L03] & ECONOMICS 9079 PAPER 3 [B01]
chem paper 2 in the morning. it was doable but i made careless mistakes. rate of reaction question. brrr.... cant stand myself. must sit.
liz and i studied during the break. er, we talked more than we studied i think. haha. we talked about a lot of random stuff. liz's mum also delivered our lunch to make sure that we did not starve. haha. thanks liz's mum.
econs was CRAP. the seat was crappy enough. i was the first person in the row. i hated it. and i was sitted next to hongyi. erm.... it's almost as pressurising as sitting next to joel. the paper itself was really crap. man. cambridge really loves singapore. out of the 6 essay questions, FIVE of them were on singapore. and one third were full 25m essays. so after careful selection (there wasn't much to choose from after eliminating the labour market and market failure questions), i did questions 2, 5 and 6. anyone did the same combination? sianx. it was the FIRST time i attempted a 25m essay question in a major exam. oh help.... and hongyi did super fast. he still had time to sit there and stone.
i was quite depressed after the paper. had no time. i gave up Qn 2(a). wrote only less than half a page in my SUPER BIG handwriting. but the motivating factor was the next day's econs paper1&2. the pressure was on for me to do well for those papers to pull my grade up.

15th Nov (Wednesday) - ECONOMICS 9079 PAPER 1 & 2 [B01]
econs paper 1 was TOUGH. and i mean T-O-U-G-H. it was harder then the past years' and the prelim even. i felt sooooo numb after the paper. elea said that she was too traumatised by the paper that she was able to remember all the questions. haha. nice one. i really tikam-ed a LOT of questions. as usual, hongyi completed the paper so super fast. when i was at question 21, he was already at the last page. elea said that joel's speed was also super fast. she was quite pressurised by him. haha. sigh. elea and i share similar fates for econs this time round....
econs paper 2 was like.... whatever. really horrible. i gave up 2 marks for drq. haha. case study was bad too... everything is bad... i don't feel like elaborating at all. econs was.... a flop for me. the subject that i haboured highest hopes for turned out this way. 期望越大，失望越大.

16th Nov (Thursday)
HAPPY BIRTHDAY MEIMEI....
slacked the day away. was still in the depressed mood although the A levels are more or less over.

17th Nov (Friday) - CHEMISTRY 9251 PAPER 1 [L03]
chem paper 1 was tough as well. what is cambridge trying to do? kill us? all the tough papers in a matter of days. i really tikam-ed a lot. and i mean a LOT. i'm not lying because liars go to hell. argh.. bad feeling about everything. speaking truthfully, i wasn't VERY happy that the As had ended. it ended on such a looooow note. sigh. but i still must thank hann hann for being the FIRST to congratulate me. haha. thank you hann hann =)
i took the train from yio chu kang to jurong east with joanna and back to woodlands because i had to wait for my sis to be released from her cca. i even went to ntuc to shop and bought baking stuff. haha. sounds aunty right? then i went to look at makeup. haha. i walked the whole causeway point. man, it's REALLY HORRIBLE to shop alone. i hope NEVER to do it again. ewww......
so finally my sis arrived and we went to take neoprints. i'll post the neoprints up soon. my scanner's down. then, my sis told me she wanted to rush home to watch gong. oh puh-leeeeeease. that's how she repaid me for waiting for her for 2hours ALONE to celebrate her birthday. fine. someone say "bad sister".
and cos i noe james will be reading this... JAMES WAS REALLY SICK..... i don't get it why i cant tell peijun that you are sick, james.... keke.
