ok~! i'm here! ONE DAY before my exams. wow~
anyway, i just have to blog this down...
i went to bed yesterday when it was half-time during the Man Utd - Tottenham match.
the score? 2-0... to Tottenham. whatever!
so i prayed for Man Utd to win... my prayer was simple... nice win, ugly win... anything.. as long as it's a win... that'll do.
then, i went to bed...
as i woke up this morning... i got a shock!
5-2! to MANCHESTER UNITED~!!!oh my! oh my! oh my!!!!!!!!
another miracle! We came back from the dead! WOW~!!! and it wasn't an ugly win.. we won the game beautifully... YEA~!!!!

hello! have not been blogging for quite some time! i know you guys just miss me! wahahah!!!
happy events:
- Yeewen got into CCK Polyclinic! that makes 2/8 Lamerz (after simplifying, 1/4) Lamerz working in a polyclinic at the same time! haha! happy for mozzie cos i know she'll get to learn a LOT! much more than her counterparts in Unity or Guardian who have to really do sai gang. and she can afford to wake up late. after all, CCKP is so near her house! good for her! happy for her~! =D
- Serkun got into NTU Accountancy!!! w0oho0~!!! congrats sk! i knew you could do it! yea~!!! jiayoule! xinkule!
- Sean Ang's in TTSH as well~!!! yippie~!!! might have some interaction with him. maybe can find him for lunch or something if time permits! how time flies! i've know him for almost a year!
- no more sch0ol... but exams are coming... lame.
- weiling helped me buy a pair of grey Uniqlo jeans.
- liling helped me changed my Uniqlo jeans cos they were way too big for me. i look like i'm wearing boyfriend jeans (ps. it's raging a storm right now. but i have no intention of following the trend cos i look horrendous in it.). dear liling spent like 30mins to help me change. so touched! ll, here's for you... *HUGS~!!!!* 您辛苦了.

yea! my lappy is finally up and going!
it's currently running on XP. Toshiba cheated by money man. the recovery CD is XP Professional instead of Vista Professional, which was my previous OS.
i managed to dl the XP sidebar! haha! i realised if Vista were to go, i would miss the sidebar. it is just so dear to me. i love all the wonderful gadgets!

just some fun (i mean, scary) facts for you guys, and girls out there...
- Six of IKEA's Swedish meatballs clock in 210 calories and 13g fat!!!
- The lingonberry sauce that comes with the meatballs and the cream sauce that comes over them aren't too bad - a tablespoon of each has about 30-35 calories an 0-1.5g fat.
- But those potatoes on the plate add a lot more calories!!!
- BTW, the cinnamon buns have 400 calories and 14g fat each!!!!!!!! *faints*

ok, story goes... Man Utd was losing 2-1 when i went on soccernet! my heart sank as i read the scoreline. i actually took a few moments to register that Aston Villa were leading. then, when reality sank in, i started to pray. it was tough for the first 15minutes (as in 60th to 75th min). all the praying and... no goal! get what i mean? i started to be discouraged. not another "L"?! sobx sobx...
then... suddenly... in the 80th min, Ronaldo EQUALISED~!!!! 2-2~!!! my goodness~!!!
the prayers continued, with more enthusiasm and life this time round. one more goal! one more! let us win! ugly win also never mind. it is still a win!, i prayed. and then... oh my! oh my! oh my... Macheda scored the winning goal in the 93rd minute~!!! i couldn't believe my eyes when that yellow dot blinked! (soccernet gamecasters should understand this). oh my! oh my! oh my~!!!! fyi, this was Macheda's DEBUT can?!?!?! and he's only 17. and he scored the winning goal?!?! so impossible man~!!! oh my! oh my! oh my~!!!!!!!
and THAT was it! we won~!!!! hahahahahaahhahahahaah..... paiseh... i'm still a little high!
lessons learnt:
- pray hardest when it is hardest to pray. it is always hard when nothing good comes your way despite all the praying. persevere on...
- ...have faith! If you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, 'Move from here to there', and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. (Matt 17:20, NKJV)
- nothing is impossible for God, with God.
- God listens to all our prayers, no matter how big or how small they are, even if it is about soccer (esp. Man Utd =P).
- stay connected to the Vine. He is the source of Life! source of everything! even soccer!
cool huh? a game of soccer can reveal so much to me! Our God is an awesome God!

ok, since zhiwei doesn't really get why Fungi will win Chicken, i shall explain it from a Physiological point of view. i learnt this during my mod, NUR 1112, Contemporary Nursing. as shown above, Fungi causes Myocarditis.
Myocarditis is defined as inflammatory changes in the heart muscle which might lead to tissue destruction and heart failure (Howes, 2008).
Fungi, upon releasing her spores, might cause myocarditis in Chicken, which might lead to chicken tissue destruction and chicken heart failure. Henceforth, Fungi will win the battle!

[i would highly recommend Chicken to take a look at the above link to determine if she has any clinical manifestations of myocarditis. if she does exhibit any, i would use Roper's 12 ADLs model to come out with a Nursing Care Plan for her, using the APIE method. Assessment 40%, Planning 10%, Interventions 30%, Evaluation 5%, Language 5%, Organisation 5%, Reference List 5%. hahaha!!!! nurses! please don't bomb sze!!! lolx. ]
