Dear guys (and girls alike),
I regret to inform you that Szern will vanish from the face of this earth (to another earth's) from now until 3rd December 2008.
She has decided to mug, cup and glass for her remaining papers as her first two papers were floppers. She
NEEDS to do well, or else she will have her scholarship revoked (somewhat like Thaksin's case).
Please pray for her that she will concentrate, study the right things, block out all negative thoughts, and still have time for her favourite show at the moment, Forensic Heroes (Channel U, weekdays, 10pm).
Szern still loves you. So above all, even if she has made the decision to disappear for this period of time, she will still make her telephone line available all the way from this earth to the one she will be residing in.
People who have finished their exams (like A*****) and people who will finish their exams before me (this is like the whole population of university students I know), please exercise some tact when conversing with me. Please do not rub salt into my wound. I will snap! I promise! My exams end on 3rd December. So please, DO NOT, i repeat,
DO NOT ask me when my last paper will be.
Your kind understanding is greatly appreciated.

** goodies galore **
i tell you, the last week of school is the BEST week i've ever had, in terms of freebies, that is.
well, i heard from my friends' friends and friend's brother that NTU doesn't have this! wahaha! Adrian mentioned that his course has. don't know if it is real. maybe he was just trying to console himself. ha!
in any case, the science faculty was giving away freebies! exam booster packs. and mind you, it wasn't pre-packed. it was just a free-for-all thing. grab-and-go. and these were just SOME of the items i gop-ed...
trust me. i goped much more. this was a three-day long thingy and was meant for the science students. so strictly speaking, i was NOT entitled to them as i am a Nursing student under the Medicine faculty. but, who cares? it was just there. being aunties, my friends and i went to gop! wahaha~!!! they kept saying i was aunty. but they were EQUALLY aunty, can? they just needed a leader to follow. i merely volunteered.
poor keith. don't think he got any thing. lolx. try again next sem...
after the rampage on Day 2 of the exam booster pack giveaway, we went to the central library. we knew that they were giving away free goodie bags! 0oh ho0~!!! but when we arrived, this was what we saw...
the Q was sooooo scary. apparently NUS nurtures kiasu-ism amongst its students. the Q was all the way from the central library, made a BIG loop round the two big trees, and extended all the way until the bus stop! my fellow aunties and i gave up. too long a Q. liling stuffed all the things she gop-ed into her bag so as to appear cool. whatever! =P
my last meal in the Science canteen (Y1 Sem 1). jiang4 ji1. highly recommended by weiling. not bad =)
and my family and i attended kim yong kor's wedding. more on that to come soon. i will find time to upload the photos taken. that's my mei. and the pretty lady on the right is none other than yours truly.
i told weiqin, weiling, chiling (nope, i'm not trying to rap here. these are my friends' REAL names) that i was going for MY wedding. lolx.
and this.... is NOT cheese. it is dried chocolate chip ice cream! interesting, heh? Victor gave it to peijun and peijun graciously shared it with the cell as we were all hungry kids. as sister wanping said, we must learn to be sensitive. if we are hungry, it is no point to continue discussion cos we would not be concentrating... haha! apparently, this is astronaut food! oh yea~!

** loved **
cell today was cool!
6 out of 9 people wore red today, namely henson, bel, bryan, shuen, timo and myself! happy =D luwei wore orange cos he had usher... but i still consider that red. means only peijun and joshua are left in a non-red colour... aw.... so sad =P
so happy that timo is out =D great to see him once again after so long! timo, it's ok if you have not much hair. you are still loved! haha.
and just as when i thought my world was crumbling from all the assignments and other issues which i have yet to settle, as just as i thought no one loves me and cares for me except my family and peijun and eliz and jo, i received these from my dear brother and sister...
a lavender coloured soap and a stapler from luwei and shuen respectively.
when ann told me the process of how luwei bought that prezzie for me, i tell you, i almost cried. i was very touched. xiao di... thanks! really! i needed some love.
and when shuen gave me the stapler, i wanted so much to hug her! although it is a souvenir from her own country.... er, ya, she went to another part of her country for a holiday with her family -_-", she thought of me la!!! sigh... i love her man... she said the stapler looks like me. does it really? maybe because it is pink.

** RUN **
just a short one today!
i finally completed my Mrs Tong. after so many last minute changes... it's crazy!
uni life!
i went for tutorial today and realised my fellow nightingales were all so pale!
- jasmine wore her specs to school as her contacts could not enter her eyes.
- zeehui looked a far cry from the photos that were splashed all over the New Paper about a month ago. gone were her big doe eyes.
- shenglian was so pale!
- pamela looked like she could sleep any place, any time.
- lisda's eye bags were bigger than her very big eyes.
- micki was caught stoning at times.
- aileen's already small eyes were even smaller.
- layhao look a longer time than usual to answer Ms Kamala's question.
- tingann looks tired.
- michelle was still as blur.
i guess weiling and i were the only normal ones today. but we were both still tired =S
keith told me that nurses are angels.
i choose to believe we are superwomen!
and now, for Terri Schiavo. nursing law and ethics. argh!

** Hall of Shame! **
i was so pissed with this male species on my way to school today!
well, it was about 9.25am. not the very peak period, but still the peak period, on the train from boon lay (hi peijun, fungi and adrian) toward pasir ris. i boarded the train at JE. and lo and behold, this male thing had to lean against the poles like....
THIS!
as a result, i had nowhere to hold on to! thank goodness i did not fall. but there were a few moments where i was a little unstable and needed something to grab on to. i made it VERY obvious that he was not doing the right thing by throwing him dirty glances and purposely making myself seem more unstable than usual (e.g pretend to almost fall). but he did not catch the hint. so inconsiderate! irritating thing.
then, dear male thing had to YAWN RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME~!!! the revelation of the black hole... no attempt was made to cover anything. i tell you, i almost would have gathered all the pisai-s of the world, rolled them into a big, gigantic ball, and hurled it into that big black hole! sorry. that was a bit unglam. but that is how my sis and i would converse at times. haha!! i was SOOO GROSSED OUT at that point, i decided to do something about it... The Hall of Shame!
