Do you realise how many calories / proteins / fats you are pumping yourself with?! goodness! i learnt from physiology that our body is still very "ancient". we still recycle our bile (and cholesterol). means, the cholesterol will actually go round our body twice! on top of that, the body's sensitive and kiasu to cholesterol. once we ingest cholesterol, the body will absorb all of it, leaving none to waste. i guess this is why Singaporeans are all getting hyperlipidemia (high cholesterol) and hypertension (high blood pressure). [P.S. the above is just an agaration from what i remembered during lecture. not guaranteed 1oo% correct.] cut down on your fatty food, guys!

i have this sudden urge to blog. i should be doing my pharmaco prac for tomorrow's lesson. well, should. let me side track a bit over here... though i don't think anyone is really reading this.... but... just allow me to gribe and nag and complain, alright?
i read a blog of a random person... the life of an NTU student. that inspired me to pen (type) this down... the life of an NUS Nursing student, staying 1h 15min away from college and taking econs as her elective:
- mornings start at 6. - finding a perfect "fengshui" spot to stand from Admiralty all the way to Jurong East without having much contact with the rest of the commuters. - contact is inevitable on the Jurong East platform. sardines. tuna. squashed tomatoes... it is a wonder why i don't smell when i alight at the faithful Bouna Vista MRT station. - exhibiting absolute kiasuism when vying with the rest of the working class on board 92 / 95 A / B / C... whatever. - physiology lectures - contemporary nursing lectures - physio tuts - therapeutic communication lecs with he dong gu - and tuts with her - lab sessions - pharmacology lec - more physio lec - economics lec with a weird and eccentric lecturer - econ tut with a horrible tutor - Problem Based Learning sessions - more pharmaco lec! - 8-3 straight on thurs
ok. i guess this sums up my timetable. hate the ah tiongs who push and shove.
oh man! this is so cool! i actually ponned school today! well, it was TOTALLY useless. may i repeat, TOTALLY, like TOR-TERLY useless. 1 hour of lecture today... and i'll have to spend a total of 2 hours travelling... waste my time! haha. so, i decided to give myself an extended CNY holiday~! so did weiling, liling, chiling and clara! kul.

it's a shou tao. longevity peach! we had to save cost la. the cheapest REAL shou tao cake we could get was $65 for a 1.5kg cake. we were not prepared to splurge so much on a lame cake... so we had to budget and DRAW one for fungi instead... speaking of drawings... i realised we drew a LOT of nonsense for fungi for her birthdays.... the Rainbow Fungi (19th), the Skippy Fungi (20th), and the Shou Tao (21st). LOL!!
and we presented zhiwei with his long overdue prezzie as well...

i am in such a mess. i went for 4o1 reunion dinner on Friday and ate until i almost burst. then, on Saturday, i went for cell reunion lunch - buffet. almost burst too! and i almost burst today too! i had brownie with gelato and strawberry champaign after reunion dinner. *burp!* i am in such a mess... my weight will skyrocket to 48kg after this CNY, i predict. ARGH~!!!! i desperately need to jog after this whole period of festivity =(

** school so far... **
i've not been blogging! and this place is starting to collect some dust! away with it! sho0~!!! go away dust!
if Week 1 of school was slacky and fun, Week 2 is crazily lethargic! i have no idea why. maybe it's the weather, maybe it is the tutor, maybe it is pharmaco and physio, maybe it is all the squeezing, fighting, jostling and the black-faces on the mrt and bus every morning... but i know that it is not "maybe it's just me". weiling and liling are feeling the same way too. boring Week 2. bo0 b0o with it. what's with pharmaco man?!?!?! (yeewen agrees with me. look at the tag on my tag board!) what's with physio and the 8am time slots and the machine gun GIT lecturer? what's with he xiangu... no no no. the name doesn't suit her... what's with he donggu? and what's with sandra?!?!?! ARGH~!!!!!! micki~!!!! save me~!!!! ='( i can't believe weiling and i are so suay! 1 sem. waiting for this sem to fly past.
other than school, i went to see the Director of Nursing (Polyclinic) on Monday. cool! it was more of a chit chat session than anything else. only thing missing was coffee and biscuits. and... i realised i am not alone! i have this senior (Yr 3) who is bonded to NHG polyclinic as well! and her reason for choosing a polyclinic was the same as mine... cos of the working hours! haha! great minds think alike. what's more, she is staying only a few blocks away from me! haha. cool man! my shijie. however, she wants to go to Woodlands polyclinic as well. sianx. haha. cos Woo is a "hot" place...

i love lamerz. i spent like 12 hours with them outside on Friday! this is crazy man! haha. it's been quite some time since the Redang trip! heh. and the fact that it is spent outside. not zhiwei's, serkun's, wilson's, yeewen's or peijun's house. haha! yea! cool man! kept laughing at nonsense as usual. like... armpit hair. the videos. the figurine. ya.... HAHAHAHA... *evil spirit* lolx.... don't get it, never mind. haha. come to think about it, new year countdown, Tuesday and Friday... we met up three times in nine days. and i know we will have ... more. haha!

i just came back from a tooth extraction. thank God i am still alive. really. i kept praying (and screaming in my heart) out to God and Jesus to save me from the misery. i don't know how to describe it. it was pure badness. the dentist used so many different types of equipment to pry at my tooth. in the end she had to take an x-ray of my tooth. i was this close to having a minor operation in the chair! goodness! the whole procedure took about 35minutes. and well, i hate to blog this down but... i cried. yes, i was so scared i cried. the dentist (she is a super pretty dentist btw) and her assistant had to keep reassuring me that everything would be ok. oh man. so throw face. thank goodness we are all girls. that made a HUGE difference. so thank God i'm here, blogging once again. with one more tooth less. oh well. does anyone have an extra tooth or two to spare? maybe i should set up a Dental Fund for myself to have tooth implantation in the future. sigh. stop sobbing, sze. it turned out fine =)

i spent New Year's with dear lamerz (again) in the comfort of serkun's house! had steamboat and played overnight mahjong. cracked a lot of stupid jokes like DOF (DAF) and chor chor.... if you don't get it, nevermind. the jokes do not seem as nice when repeated. haha.
and on 2nd January, it's BPGHS' reopening ceremony~!!! YEA~!!! i love BP! haha. we saw many teachers and had great difficulty remembering their names. lolx. and it was quite funny cos we called the teachers by their full names instead. and we avoided a teacher (i shall not name her) along the hallway. lolx. hi5, yeewen! we did a GREAT job! keke. saw many people as well. like esther, fiona, yanping, jiawei, adeel, azhar, jackson, serchuan, rayna, zhilun, janice, and peijun's cousin -_-", and .....
naughty jiemin, mingna, mickon! all never go back! hor hor!!!
oh! and i met my junior! jiajie! my junior all the way! the ONLY one who has taken this route so far.... BPGHS SJAB -> AJC First Aid. hahahahahhahah!!!!! and he was from the squad i was in-charge of! hahahaha... so coincidental man! President of FAC wor~!! don't play play. haha. so proud of him.
