elea, jol, liz and i really got cheated duing ah ping's birthday celebration. zhiwei, serkun, teh and i went yesterday to the amk branch and sang til 7+pm. $10.50. the service was good in the sense that there was no 男人婆 or anyone forcing us to leave the place.
when we were ushered into the room, the waiter told us that we can sing til 5pm. but the bill came only at 6pm. and the waitress asked, "你们要不要付钱？" so zhiwei was saying, if we said no, she would have just walked away and we can continue singing. i was expecting her to chase us out when she came back with the change but that did not happen. instead, after giving us the change, we went out of the room without saying anything else. think it's the time and place. it was quite ulu on thursday from 2-7. what's more...it's at amk. ulu.

actually, most of the time we were looking at the people walking past us. haha. people-gazing. this was how we were situated at the wave pool. we looked as though we were spying at the people walking past. what's more. as zhiwei and i were both "blind", we had to use our goggles as specs to get a clearer look at these people. the goggles somehow looked like binocs. haha.
kay, the drawing is quite awful... but i think you get the idea...
i've not had a swim in ages. i wanted to swim ever since the june holidays. but it dragged on until now because of the world cup, mid year's, double seven month and prelims.

i'm supposed to have lunch together with lamerz today but i did not go. sorry le. it's just that i did not have the mood at all. it's the

i read from the papers today that more couples tied the knot last year. however, divorce rates went up as well.
A total of 22,992 marriages were registered last year, about 3.6% more than in 2004. Though the marriage trend is on the upward swing these past few years, the rates were lower than the annual average of 24,800 registered during the 1990s.
The median age for first marriages and remarriages also increased - by two to five years - over the past two decades.

and so monday passed by with me attending just
ONE hour of lesson - pe, where we only had to check our cca records. nonsense. so lessons ended at 845am for me. i rotted in school til 1215 before going home. haha.
this was what we did in school today.... our very own chocolate fondue....
it looks sad but it's for the fun of it. haha. crazy us... we had red apple, green apple, banana, pear and most importantly, chocolate!!!
oya~! luwei, u ok le den i buy the chocolate for you la. sick still eat chocolate?!
so many people's falling sick nowadays... shuen, daryl, luwei, james, liz (almost), aj people sitting around liz during the prelims.....
and so 1605 got back their econs prelim mcq results and their FULL bio AND chem prelim papers today. erm.... heng i do not have tutorials till wednesday. but 托得了一时， 托不了一世. come what may.... it's only the prelims, right yeewen? keke.

** back to school... **
i am happy. cos i spent the last 3 days with 3 important groups of people in my life now - friday:
ping, jol, elea, lizzie; saturday -
churchmates; sunday -
lamerz.
first things first, i must state explicitly that
PEIJUN IS PART OF LAMERZ. *winks at James*
and to lamerz (referring to yeewen and fungi and occasionally serkun), the
james that i just mentioned is peijun's famous
gor lor... haha. remember we were discussing about it last year? haha.... ya.... hope you guys feel enlightened.... keke.
lamerz gathering today was lame. i went to zhiwei's house only to watch tv while fungi, yeewen, serkun and zhiwei played mahjong. then i went down to fetch peijun from the bus stop (to kill time). then we went to eat duck rice at Johnson Duck's. although i didn't really participate much this time round, it was still worth it... cos it's a lamerz gathering =) it's better than some black mass (he-whom-i-shall-not-name) who did not turn up for a looooong time. keke.
they celebrated daryl's birthday today. it was meant to be a surprise but it turned out to be a total failure. haha. cos shuen gave daryl his cake yesterday and told him, "i'm going to malaysia today. this is your cake. they are going to celebrate your birthday tomorrow."
*faints* how could she be so blur?!?!
i spoilt part of it too. i wished daryl happy birthday this morning at 12.00mn and told him to treasure his birthday card when it was not presented to him yet!!!! haha. blur me... by the way, i was the

** ah ping's bdae celebration **
i had fun today~! celebrating people's birthdays always makes me feel happy =)
met lizzie and we went to cine together. at the entrance, we saw
daryl. heh. he's birthday's coming really soon too! den we went to find
shuen and peijun to say hi before going to k box. jol, elea and ah ping were late.
the guy at the counter told liz and i that we can only sing till 5pm. what nonsense! for all the years that i've been to k box, i've been singing til 7pm, at times 7.45pm for the k student time slot. that
男人婆 pissed all of us off. don't really wanna talk about her. $15 for a tub of tidbits. nonsense. luckily we
gop-ped one
HUGE packet of tidbits. (look at what ah ping's holding) their service was
TOTALLY BAD. i kind of regretted not quarreling with them. haha. i have my rights kay? customer rights. i do not expect to be treated like that. pth.
liz and i saw justin and another girl at k box too! eh, shall not comment too much la. and saw aileen and her friends too. they were in the room opposite us. they all stood up to sing their songs. so we countered them and stood on the sofa to sing. we even danced para para sakura in full force. it was super malu...but fun! haha. i love the times where we went crazy. yea! by the way, 千里之外 is not bad without the 音多. we sang stupid songs like 明明白白我的心, 情人, I'm So Hot, 一把伞, 选择，流星雨， 烟火的季节... heh. we 复古 la.... i'm having a little sore throat now. sang too much. keke.
and in the lift after k box-ing, we saw this guy with a crew cut, who looks to be in his 40s, wearing a TIGHT navy blue singlet with all his muscles bluging out. it was quite amusing. the 5 of us were giggling at him. then, when he got out of the lift, he pointed his middle finger at us. what nonsense!!! please la, we're girls kay? it's not proper for a guy to do such a thing. it is insulting. according to ah ping, he is a teacher from *ahem* jc. but elea said it was not. i did not see his face. daMmit.... if he really is a teacher, the consequences are greater kay?!?! what is singapore's education inculcating it's students nowadays?! one cant really blame the students for any wrong doings. blame the teachers instead. 上梁不振下梁歪. gosh.... the fact that he might be a teacher really disgusts me.
we went to take neoprints at heeren. heh. our usual practice. k box first then neoprints.

went to have pepper lunch next, or rather, pepper dinner. hMm... it did not really live up to it's hype (heh... sounds like a sermon's title). it was pepperish.... and i guess that was it. really nothing great.
went to have chocolate fondue at paragon's coffee club. erm... it's nothing spectacular la. the chocolate isn't really that rich and bitter as i would have liked it to be. nevermind, we'll have our own fondue in school on monday =) biscuits, apples, mango, kiwi, banana.

i am slacking at home. so shuang.
this is for yeewen and eliz... it may take some time to load. so in the meantime, read on... haha.

i went for a jog this morning. my stamina really deproved a
LOT!!! gosh. ever since the shortened timetable started, i have not had a proper exercise session where i really worked out. anyway, i was panting after 2km. how lousy. wonder how i went throught my 2.4. oh no no no... after my jog i did the usual sit-ups, push-ups and all... man. did only 20 sets each and i cant take it any longer. i felt i was going to faint.
i went home and laid on the floor for 30mins with my legs elevated. heh. i'm a first-aider remember? so i know how to save myself =) haha. it took me a LOOONG time before i recovered. think i've not been exercising for such a looooong time such that my body cant take the sudden shock. pth.
but anyway, i felt MUCH better after the jog. =D i feel thinner and more energized. =P

my feet are aching right now as i am writing this but it is all worth it~!! ah ping, u better like your prezzie!! haha...
my last paper for the prelims ended today at 10.37am. o0h... the air of freedom~!! i feel so vindicated, so free, so glad. but yet again, this is only the prelims. the real thing is due in about a month's time.
mrs chai was super funny today. after the chem paper, she taught us how to tie our answer scripts together securly (ie. she taught us how to tie a knot). she also reminded us that we are to TIE our answer scripts using the strand of string provided instead of stapling our answer scripts together. this is the Cambridge requirement. she suggested that Cambridge might have made this requirement because the weight of all the staplets, when added together, might incur higher transportation costs. haha. so CUTE~!!!! the whole hall was laughing at her suggestion. keke. i suddenly hope that she is my chem teacher instead of pee....
i watched ah ping board her train and went out of the station to find lizzie. haha. wasted 40cents. it is was worth it. i walked with lizzie to some ulu bus stop all the way at the National Computer Services Hub and realised that the bus we wanted to take did not stop at that bus stop!!! we were both sweaty (but not stinky). haha. in the end we cabbed to ikea. $9.90.
at ikea, we found that the treasure chest we wanted to get for ah ping was flimsy!! it was made of cardboard and cloth. it wasn't really a treasure chest. it was not strong and solid. it has holes (what is the point of the treasure chest (think you want to hide something) when you can see through it?). and the WORST thing was that it has a velcro lock!!! oh puh-leeease!!! what good is a treausre chest when you cant lock your stuff in it?!
after touring the whole of ikea, we decided to buy this frog for ah ping instead. haha. it is green and it looked like something ah ping would like.
then, we went to anchorpoint to walk walk see see. when we returned to ikea, we went to have our lunch! we had the very famous
meatballs. my goodness. they were delicious. i love the jam that they used. it tasted... ...unique. maybe it's just me. becuase it is air flown from sweden. haha. we had potato salad and chocolate mousse too. man.. the mousse was good too~!! oh help!! i think i grew fat. haha. $9.30.
then we went to get all the things that we wanted to buy. we got ah ping a turtle storage bin on top of the frog that we intended to give her. i also bought my hanging storage and a mini turtle (*winks at eliz*). lizzie and i bought the coloured markers-cum-chops ms yiak gave to us for youth's day. we also bought the heart-shaped pillow and a baking tin for jol. our shopping bag was practically bursting!!!

when we were going to pay for our purchases, this guy kept sneezing non-stop. oh help! it was gross. his sneeze was resounding and the echo could be heard. oh no! gross. eliz and i walked super fast just to overtake him. haha.
the stuff amounted to $70.70. haha. nice number. can go and buy 4D. after that, we went to get biscuits from the ikea shop. haha. lizzie got hotdogs for her family. so sweet right?
when we left ikea, we went to a bus stop that only had 2 buses stopping at that stop. so nonsense. we had to walk back to ikea to ask for directions before we arrived at the bus stop that had the buses we wanted to take. then, we realised that we were waiting at the wrong bus stop!!! oh gosh. blur us. we crossed the overhead bridge and just nice, 961 came. so i boarded the bus and left lizzie all alone at the bus top. poor thing....
it was the first time that in 6 years that i took 961 all the way from Queensway to Farrer Road to Bukit Timah Road to Upper Bukit Timah Road (pass church) to Woodlands Road to Marsiling MRT to Woodlands MRT. w0o.... it was a long ride. somehow, the trees look different in the day as compared to the night. haha. it is just me.
and eliz called to tell me that she took the bus that was going in the opposite direction!! so she alighted and decided to cab home instead. clementi is miles away from eliz's house.... poor thing. when she boarded the taxi, she realised that she did not have enough money!! so she paiseh-ly (if there ever is such a word) told the uncle and the uncle drove her back to clementi where she boarded. $2.50. when eliz wanted to take the bus in the opposite direction, she realised that 147 does not stop at the opposite bus stop!!! oh no!! what nonsense. so poor eliz had to take bus 52 to i-don't-know-where. but in the end, she managed to reach home safely. thank God.
when i got home, i found out that the thai military had overthrown the thai government. meaning thaksin is no longer PM of Thailand. haha. so lousy. and according to dad, he said that the Thai Foreign Minister, who is in Singapore to attend the IMF meetings, said that he doesn't need to discuss things further because he no longer holds the job. haha. how sad.
the Thai Bhat depreciated to a 3-year low. this decreases the foreign price of exports and increases the domestic price of imports. the quantity demanded for exports will increase more than proportionately assuming Marshall-Lerner condition holds. this increases the total revenue for the government. this also improves Thailand's Balance of Trade.
however, this might lead to an inflation if the Thailand economy is operating near or at full employment level. the increase in exports would lead to an increase in aggregate demand which would lead to a multiplied increase in national income and output and lowers the unemployment rate.

- not forsaking me during my exams. though i made silly and unwarrented errors, i could feel God's tangible presence in me. the peace and calmness.
- making my
first ever praise and worship leading session successful.
- giving patience to andros and daryl so that they are able to teach me everything that is needed for PnW.
- giving shuen love so that she can love me. cos she called me the night before to give me tips on how to hold a successful PnW session. awww....
- putting the right words into my mouth and giving me wisdom so that i can share everything i know with dayna. my
first time sharing in church. my very very first time was during the evangelistic outreach. haha.
- holding an enjoyable birthday "surprise" for shuen.
- bringing sonia back to church. she knows how to flip to the right verses already~!! praise God =D

ok. gp, econs paper 3 and chem paper 3 are all gone. i'm having math paper 1 tomorrow. jia you le.
gp was horrible. econs paper 3 was okaaayy... hope that things will not turn out like what happened during mid year's...
chem paper 3 was okaaayy too...do-able. so unlike mid year's where i spent only 8 hours studying chem. haha. wonder how i did that.
i was quite cock-eyed for chem paper 3. i didn't see the question where they asked us to draw the electrochemical cell. argh~!! wasted. i could have gotten a few more marks. pth. i have only myself to blame.

*gasp!*i was desperate for time and guess what i did?
i used the
solar panel on my calculator as a
mirror and put my contacts back into my left eye during the exam~! haha. i think i am great. desperate times calls for desperate measures.
pastor's tip has been working so far... =D and i know it will always work in whatever circumstance when i am on this earth. *yea~!*

went to lib today with fungi and serkun. met loads of people like huiqian, nk, kasiang, kelvin, yongsheng, anna lee and 0405 people, and adeline. serkun was ultimate. he forgot that adeline was in bp and he wore a weird expression when i waved to adeline. he thought that adeline was NOT from bp and was from wps only. gosh... he's aging.

** Poor Steve Irwin **

went to the library early in the morning to study. i was supposed to meet fungi and zhiwei for breakfast but i overslept. haha. alarm did not ring. so both of them went to have their breakfast together. keke. when i went to the library, i found out that winghan was there too~!!! ah haha. han jie. long long loong time never see her le. there were also many others in the library like kengsiong, huiping (i checked her name up in the year book), mingling,

shao xian!! (in his beanie), huey eng, jolyn and a few other ajcians whom i can't really remember their names. oops.... haha. according to han jie, there were many njcians (is that what you call them?) there too. we saw han jie's dad too~!!! haha. serkun came at around 11+.
the day passed by quite
okay-ly with zhiwei thinking of all sorts of nonsense to trick serkun. one example is Down's syndrome (no intention of mockery or whatsoever) is experienced by one who is feeling down and sad. and serkun actually bought that~!! oh gosh!! and zhiwei kept
suan-ing fungi too! haha.
after zhiwei and fungi left, eliz sent me a message to tell me that
steve irwin (aka croc hunter)
DIED while on a diving expedition. he got stung by a stingray. oh gosh~!!! i thought it was some kind of joke. like.... it was so soo sooo super shocking~!!! so sudden. so unexpected. oh no.... and by a stingray. i'd rather it be a croc. and what's worse, he left behind his wife and 2 young children aged 8 and 2. oh gosh... poor things. sigh. there was extenssive news coverage on this from channel 5 to channel 8 to channel u...

fungi kept saying wrong stuff today. she said, "
我跟他 (zhiwei) 在一起". it sounded suggestive right? haha. she also said this, "我跟 zhiwei 给他 (serkun) sex education". oh man~!!!! this is even suggestive-r. i must explain this. serkun zhiwei and fungi were discussing about the origins of the HIV some time back. serkun didn't quite understand something so fungi and zhiwei explained the issue to him. it is just as simple as that. but fungi phrased it until it was so suggestive. haha.
and peijun told me that z3 said that i cannot put michelle joy's worthy on my player anymore.... sigh... 我 (8)

Went to library to study with luwei and cryst today. Luwei told me a lot of
shocking stuff. Guizhen is actually 18!!!! Gosh!! And I thought that she was 21. ah!!! She’s as old as I am. *faints* and weiwei. She’s 19! And I thought that she was 18. peijun told me that sean’s 20. okaaaay…. I thought that he was 22. oh help! This is in addition to the times when I guessed weehuat, joy and jieming’s ages wrongly la!! I thought weehuat was 17 when in fact he is 19. and joy. I thought that she was 16. it turned out that she’s 19. and jieming. I thought he was 23. he is 21. oh help!! What’s wrong with me?!?! The only person whom I guessed his age correctly is james’. 21. okay. I think it is just me. Haha.
Saw many people in the library today. They include yongsheng, Kelvin, kiansiong, marie and her dad, mingling and chinghong. Haha. My primary, secondary and jc friends.

just asked mum about missions. she was unwilling to let me go. she told me that she would discuss with dad. i asked dad. dad said that i need not go for these kinda stuff. i told peijun who in turn showed me melissa's blog. it was super encouraging!! thanks xie xie xie jimei! haha. i will not give up. i will pester my parents till they relent. ha!!!
