Lynn's and our team went to this catholic school that was by the Mekong river. Across the Mekong river is Laos.

We did skits, sang songs and showed them this movie. It was the first time we were watching it. We were as captivated as the students. I was craning my neck to watch the movie. After the movie, we handed out the tracks and new testaments. The kids scrambled to get the stuff. There was a stampede. W0w~!!! I was shocked to see that scene.

So many people came over to ask xunxiang and ian for photos and signatures. Scary.

what to do? i'm their mama, as hau puts it. sigh...

After that we went to this school with 10-year old kids. They were so cute. Then, we had to watch the same movie again. Thank goodness I was being called to go tracking =P

it was a long and bumpy ride. 13 people squeezed into the back of a mini van, 5 of which were Aussies. It was so super packed. Yet, somehow, Ps Ong (left) and Henry (right) managed to fall asleep. Winnie and I kept laughing at them. Keke.

We did not track for very long. We went for only about 30minutes… “Wan nee mee gan ser den, majak Singapore. Way lah nerng toong, tee telat ban noon sa wang. Chiern ka.” I can memorise it already lor. It means, “Today, there will be a performance from Singapore. Time 7pm, opposite (place) ban noon sa wang. Please come.”

I was together with hau, zixin and Jonathan. I was so afraid while tracking. I was scared that the thais would not understand what I was saying. But thank God. All the Thais whom I spoke to knew what I was saying. They would go “kao jai” when I asked if they “kao jai mai?” I also thank God for giving me the confidence to approach the villagers. I stepped out of my comfort zone. I thought that I could not do it. I THOUGHT. But in actual fact, I did it, through God’s power. It was then that I felt really small. I had to really tap on God’s power to do things for Him. Relying on the Holy Spirit. Not by power, not by might, but by Spirit, says the Lord.

the harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few.

We went another place to prayer walk and track together as a team. While tracking, we prayed for this ah ma. It was quite scary. It struck me so hard that the spiritual world is a very real place. Although we cannot see it, it is THERE whether we like it or not. If you want to know more about what happened, just ask me privately.

WAHAHA~!!! yes, it is a VERY dark picture of me acting in the Reconciliation skit.

During the night rally, this guy caught my attention. He was carrying a monk bag. He came on his scooter and took a look at what was going on and scooted off. He came back again for the second time. This time, he lingered a little longer before scooting off. He came again for the third time. This time, I ushered him in. it was so obvious that God drew him to the rally. I was determined not to let this chance slip past. Apparently, he drowned himself in alcohol and became a monk because his wife left him. so sad… He quit being a monk a month ago. he asked us to pray for him. and so we did. He cried. He said that he left much better and could feel love. He was obviously touched by the Holy Spirit. His tears really moved me.

Then there was this person who had diabetes and was blind. We prayed for her and she was healed. She regained her vision completely! Oh man! Praise be to God! It was the first time I saw such things happening right before my very eyes. I was quite skeptical at first. But after a few rounds of testing, it was confirmed that she could see again~!!!! Oh man man man. WoW~!!

After that we went to have dinner and went back to the hotel room to grab some rest. Money counting was ok. I had 14 baht extra. Hau told me that as long as we are not short of money it is ok. So, yea~!!! I think I’m a good treasurer – I can make money appear =P joking.
