i was praying like mad. my heart was all over the place. my hands were cold and
clammy. so were my legs. i was clasping my hands so tightly until they had cramps. i was trembling and had to use my blanket to cover myself despite the hot weather. cool!
i thought all was lost when
Ronaldo missed. at that point, i hated him.

i went to
wilson's house for a
stay over yesterday. it was actually to celebrate his birthday. i went home after church, bathed, and went to his house. upon entering, fungi and i went to ransack his kitchen. we wanted to find his lighter but... FAILED! and his house doesn't have the bang bang. so... we just poked two
BIG unlighted candles (oh crap! this sounds gross. can i request for two
small candles for my birthday this year?) on the cake and brought it into
wilson's room...

hysterically.
and so we watched The Mist and played
mahjong where
wilson kept winning. birthday man ma.
and we kept covering

and we kept laughing over nonsense. from some 100-year old
chen han wei, liu qian yi, xiang yun show, to fried rice sushi, to
wu ke qu dai, to

and for introductions, we were supposed to say our weight. GOODNESS! this is such a sensitive topic to us girls. but i don't know how, it digressed into a height thingy. timo said he is 170cm. and that made marco look bad because he is standing at 168cm. marco was so sour about it that he kept harping on it all through ice breakers and even into sharing. wahaha... so so farni.
dear andros is actually a smart boy. yup... i've always believed in that ever since i joined nissi-peijun in apr 06. must study hard arh boy boy....
szern would like to thank everyone who congratulated me over my admission to NUS - Nursing. haha. sorry if i did not reply to everyone's messages because... i sent to many smses already. haha. i think my whole world knows i have been accepted into NUS - Nursing. serious. i have been telling everyone. from family, to lamerz, to cell, to ajc clique, to churchies, to colleagues, to ex-colleagues... goodness! haha.
i finally received my letter of acceptance on Thursday night when i got home. or was it Friday night?
yep yep! i am just so relieved that it is here. FYI, i got a rejection letter from SMU. haha. but who cares?! bleah! boo boo to them! they will regret their decision. haha!!!

** The Celebration - Part 2 **
our family celebrated mama's day with this cake! it's value for money!!! cos i ordered online before the promotion deadline (i was 1h away from the deadline. lolx). and i got a 20% discount on the cake~!!! WAHAHA~!!! i feel sooo happy =)

cell group celebrated luwei and bel's birthdays once again. last week was just a mini one, to make them sad and depressed cos it was super mini. but i guess it failed miserably. luwei didn't feel sad at all last week. wahaha. so lame.
anyway, this time, we blindfolded luwei and bel - once again. we did the same thing to them last week. luwei expected this. but who cares? lolx... here are the pix....

cell went to have dinner outside! YEA~!!! so happy~!!! so we finally broke free from catering. after last week's really bad catering, this was a pleasant change. henson, timo and i said the same thing of last week's catering - we ate it just because we do not want to stumble the others. sigh... and also because i was hungry and there were no other viable options. my only decent meal is dinner on saturdays - unless you consider milo and chocolate decent meals.

sorry to cell for not treating. my account is in the reds after paying for my CPU. my dear sister doesn't want to share the cost. sigh...
and yea, my FASS interview went um... should i say, well? they asked weird questions. i was stunned. but i think i did my best. i want to thank GOD for tiding me throughout. i was super nervous. my palms were wet. yet, my heartbeat was normal. weird huh? guess this can also be classified under "the peace of God" =) i would also like to thank the people who really, genuinely prayed for me. thank GOD for wonderful friends and helpful people!
